So some of you might be wondering ‘well with all this talk about ESEA, what happened to CEVO?’ First a bit of background: orz has signed up for 3 CEVO seasons now (4 if you include revH signing up for the OCZ tournament way back in the day), and guess what? We’ve never finished out a season :( Sad but true. We’ve always had to drop CEVO a few weeks in, never actually completing all of the matches. As of 2 days ago, this seemed to be the case yet again. ESEA would be a serious drain on us, having to play 2 matches a week already. Since CEVO and ESEA have different map rotations, this also means extra scrims on different matches. Given that half of us start school soon (or have already started), we were looking at a serious time commitment that not all of us were 100% about.

However, there may be a plan in the works to continue CEVO on a more casual basis. To give a preview: if any of you reading this happen to be on a lowish competitive team that would like to compete in CEVO but need some help learning the ins and outs of competitive TF2 gaming, keep reading our blog :) We may be announcing something soon…
