There's a few issues that prevent us from making this into a video. First, my current machine gets about 10-20fps if I try to record and play tf2 at the same time (upgrading soon, so this may become a non-issue). Second, working the camera requires a good amount of attention. It's possible now that we have 3 of us, but currently we're all just clicking around and flying through looking for scouts or something... not good to watch.

eXtv does the video thing, basically, but I'm pretty sure he watches the demo 1-2x to figure out what to watch, spends another time just recording, then comments on the video. This is admirable, but I'm just not willing to commit 4-5 hours a week to doing that.

So basically, it's possible, but I like the fact that everyone can watch and notice the details on their own in HD with demo/audio. It would be more convenient to have a video, but the huge amount of effort required for the rather slight benefits is not worth it to me.

You'd have to probably watch it once to make sure you knew what they were focusing on, and then watch it again to record it in its entirety to synch it up to the audio of the FF.

If I were more talented with computers, I'd be willing...

I think the current format is that they just provide an audio track to go along with the demo file, so unless valve releases a plugin that allows you to play your own music while watching demos, this is still the easiest format for them :)

How bothersome would it be to make the FF casts into youtube videos? Pretty difficult I'm assuming?

Haha, my bad. I thought about giving a summary, then forgot. Then I half-typed one in a steam message, and suddenly had to ring for people. That's my story.

This time on Focus Fire, Jestr, Breather and I take a look at another match from across the pond. From the ESH Sennheiser Challenge Final, we have TCM vs idk in a tight game on badlands. The playstyle of both teams here is surprisingly passive, but the game is good nonetheless. Just remember -- never gg until it's actually impossible to cap last!
